Carmen Labbé is a third generation artist living in the lower Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. A native of Texas , and a nationally recognized award winner for her lighting, set design and costume design, Carmen draws upon her experiences in the performing arts to transform her canvas.
In addition, Carmen has traveled extensively in South and Central America, visiting, working and volunteering in Argentina , Brazil , Chile , Honduras , Mexico and Panama . European travel has brought her to London and Paris . She is fluent in several languages and truly loves and respects the many cultures of the world.
Carmen is a certified Reiki Master, Hypnotherapist and Tachyon practitioner. Her knowledge of the healing arts, coupled with her extensive travel and performing arts background assist her in transforming her canvas in a unique and magical way.
Carmen has exhibited her works of fine art in Texas , New Mexico , Soho NY , Chelsea NY, Upstate NY, and Florida . She has completed commissioned projects for Community Hospice in Dallas Texas , creating various mandalas that were utilized as 'healing art therapy'.
